The New York Times covers Evolving Forms in A Panorama of Design, written by Morgan Malget. In the print edition the entry runs under the heading Adaptability, subtitled Practical, No-Fuss Pieces Fit for an Evolving Family.
The piece sets out the show as the studio's first solo exhibition and describes the adaptable dining set, a console and two dining tables that arrange nine different ways, with a stool, a bench and three chairs alongside, all in birch plywood.
It records that Mia Kim and Paul Trussler bring backgrounds in fashion and architecture to multifunctional pieces meant to move with a household as it changes, and that many were developed in response to the needs of their own young family.
