The interior architect Louis Denavaut renovated an artist's atelier facing the church of Saint-Roch in the 1st arrondissement, a structurally demanding project that required the intervention of the charpentiers de Paris. An old oeil-de-boeuf window was uncovered and linked to the opening below it, producing a window four and a half metres high looking onto the basilica.
A Studio Goons End Arm Chair and Original Stool sit at the desk on the mezzanine, described in the piece as plywood, cut raw and tinted, closing the loop with the living space and creating a continuity of gesture. The Studio Goons pieces appear on the mezzanine alongside a Hans-Agne Jakobsson wall light, credited through Galerie JAG.
