Elle Décoration features the Studio Goons Striped Oak Console in Néo-Art Déco, a story in its February/March 2025 issue, with art direction and styling by Aurore Sfez and photography by Jaïr Sfez.
In the set, the console stands against a full-height curtain, carrying a table lamp and a fluted bowl, in a room built from warm ochre, oxblood and deep brown.
The Striped Oak Console is the studio's foundation console carrying its hand-striping. One horizontal plane sits on two angular zigzag supports, with no apron, no stretcher and no visible fasteners. Each stripe is scored into the wood and stained individually, by hand, in the Paris atelier, so the pattern cannot be rushed or corrected, only made carefully.
Aurore Sfez and Jaïr Sfez previously brought the studio's Foundation Console into Elle Décoration, in Noces de bois.
